I have run businesses for almost 25 years. And I have an even longer track in Information Technology. Starting as a programmer, I moved to project manager, program designer, analytics and predictive work, large integrations, infrastructure, and security.Basically, I have participated in the entire spectrum of the information business giving me significant experience and knowledge of what works and what has failed before... I bring all those years of business experience and the many more years Information Systems expertise to create a uniquely balanced approach for my clients and businesses we partially own. Basically I speak both "Business" and "IT".My passion is the creation of something out of nothing. Whether a process, a business, a novel concept, a strategy. And I bring that passion to all my endeavors.Over the years, I have worked on strategic initiatives for large enterprises - like Marriott, Nationwide Insurance, Nestle, Borden Foods, Navistar International, Akzo-Nobel, and MAC Tools. Some of the work involved creating predictive business demand models and I'm talking back in the 90's.I have failed a number of startups, including "SiteManager" where we created an online, interactive website management tool in 1999 - 15 years before it became accepted.Nowadays, I find smaller and medium sized businesses much more interesting. Very few resources are properly sized for these types of companies. My efforts have helped the likes of Miles McClellan Construction Company, TownePark, Inc., and Futre Polytech/Most recently, I find myself very much attracted to startups. I have been in business almost a quarter of a century. My failures and successes combined with the strategy work that I do give me a unique perspective to help these companies.
