Instructor for 7th grade science with experience in coaching, designing and leading PD, writing curriculum and developing educational opportunities for both students and educators. In college I explored Art Education and Fisheries Biology before realizing that after years of working with children through church, summer camp, and volunteering in schools, that I was meant to be an educator. Utilizing both of my credentials, Multiple Subjects and Life Science, I worked as a PD facilitator and science instructional coach for all teachers TK-12 for the San Jacinto Unified School District. In 2019, I presented workshops on classroom gardening and aquaponics at the Environmental Education Collaborative Symposium, California Science Education Conference, and the California STEAM Symposium. My ultimate career goal is to continue educating youth in a way that encourages them to stay curious, creative and compassionate for our world.
