As a Project Manager, I managed the implementation for Epic’s Professional Billing software. I worked with large, complex health care organizations, including: academic, multi-specialty physician groups, community practices, hospital based organizations, provider based organizations, and pediatric customers. My previous clients include: Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Atrius Health, Ochsner Health System, Park Nicollet Health Services, Presbyterian Health Services, University Health System of Eastern Carolina, and University Health System of Augusta.I worked closely with billing office and finance leadership to optimize their billing processes using an integrated practice management system, resulting in more streamlined revenue cycle workflows across front-end and back-end operations. I lead system design and workflow validation to ensure the practice management system met customers’ operational and billing requirements.I managed the integration between Epic and third party systems such as PeopleSoft and Lawson for general ledger and accounts payable systems to ensure the customer could accurately generate their financial statements. This resulted in a higher level of automation and more transparent information being shared between A/R and A/P systems.
