I'm dedicated to fostering innovation and economic growth in the Greater Las Vegas area by leading the charge in supporting a thriving startup ecosystem. My goal is to bring more startups and entrepreneurs to the greater Las Vegas area by strategizing, creating, and implementing initiatives that attract and nurture our ecosystem. Collaborating with regional partners, we'll foster an environment where startups can thrive and contribute to the region's economic diversification. I will be a driving force in propelling Greater Las Vegas towards becoming a hub for innovation, investment, and cutting-edge technology.

StartUp Vegas is a 501c3 nonprofit whose mission is to boost the startup culture and create an environment of entrepreneurship. By building the infrastructure needed for a sustainable startup ecosystem, this grassroots effort will provide access and exposure for the community while enabling knowledge exchange and advancing the innovation economy of Southern Nevada.StartUp Vegas has harnessed the shared entrepreneurial excitement, energy, and encouragement to provide value to the startup scene in Southern Nevada through training, workshops, mentorship, collaboration, and networking opportunities. In order to achieve this, StartUp Vegas is focused on a bottom-up approach that will connect, educate, and promote a robust startup ecosystem by supporting founders / entrepreneurs, creating meaningful programming, and providing opportunities to access capital.

Oversaw the civic engagement efforts for both organizations which include campus outreach, organizing, paid field programs, GOTV, online and digital engagement, digital and in-person events with our founder Former Vice President, Al Gore.In the spring, before COVID-19 shut down all in-person organizing, the c4 program consisted of eight organizers on college campuses in four battleground states (PA, FL, MI, TX) engaging and registering students to vote, two paid field operations in battleground states (NV, PA) registering primarily young voters, and three college campus visits where former Vice President Al Gore planned to meet with students and speak about solutions to the climate crisis.For the remainder of the spring and summer we transitioned to online outreach, broadening our email and social media reach, expanded our efforts to include mail voter registration and texting swing voters, ran online digital and radio ads, and partnered with allied organizations to host digital events.Once there were COVID-19 safety protocols in place, our c3 efforts partnered with allied organizations to reignite our in-person voter registration efforts. We collected 27,136 voter registration cards in Arizona and 12,634 in Nevada and then did outreach to ensure these new voters participated in the general election.The c4 invested heavily in North Carolina spending nearly $6M to collect 31,677 voter registration cards and knock on 305,000 doors during GOTV. Our efforts were able to help Governor Cooper gain reelection, but fell short in the Senate and Presidential race. Heavily participated in the Georgia run-off campaign efforts with 7 voter offices around the state, first focused on voter registration, and then transitioning to a Vote By Mail campaign, and finishing the 2020 cycle with GOTV efforts to help the two Democratic candidates win election on January 5th 2021.

Ran a continent-wide volunteer engagement program for a European Political Party focused on the EU Parliament Elections based in Brussels, Belgium. Worked directly with Party leadership to create a GOTV outreach plan to improve engagement with targeted audiences, create unique storytelling opportunities through online and traditional communication plans, introduced innovative techniques to mobilize constituents, manage meeting logistics for party committeesPlanned and managed exchange summits in the U.S. and across Europe for coalition partners to gather to discuss, improve, and observe election efforts.

Ability to process information gathered into actionable solutions to a variety of challenges for any assignment. Well rounded abilities to fill in where needed, assignments included RON (room overnight), site, and crowd. Ability to switch between positions required an eye for detail, able to foresee the unforeseen to make events and principal’s movements seamless. Resourcefulness was key, often with short time restraints. Able to lend a hand and perform other duties as needed.RON - Anticipated the principal’s needs throughout their stay, fulfilled all requests to ensure their overall stay was relaxing, organized and undisturbed. Prepared rooms for arrival, created memos for situational awareness, handled all food, maid service and any other hotel requests, solved other staff needs, coordinated with United States Secret Service/security. Ensured departure was smooth and nothing was left behind.Site - Resourceful with space constraints, developed a vision and executed appropriately, coordinated with other team members, considered all audiences and principal’s appearance, made movements manageable and easy, focused on small details without losing sight of overall big picture needs.Crowd - managed crowd expectations without losing goal and visuals of the event. As a frontline representative for the principal, all interactions needed to be well thought out, organized, calm, and respectful. Managed volunteers and other staff movements.

Developed curriculum, mapped out logistics, and identified speakers for events nationwide, most notably Summer Brownbag series aimed at engaging political newcomers, developed post-election programs to support campaign staff, and ran professional development, resume/interview skills training.Improved strategic partnerships with outside organizations, increased collaboration among progressive organizations; Organizing for Action, Democratic National Committee, and others.

Managed day-to-day operations, analytical and tactical strategies of national communication and guided information flow throughout the national structure.Oversaw national 2010 midterm campaign and 2012 Presidential campaign efforts, coordinating with state chapters and allied organizationsPlanned 10 organization-wide meetings held around the country, coordinated speakers, managed overall logistics. Served as Meetings Director and Convention Secretary for 2013 biennial conference. 2,500 in attendance.

Developed and led voter contact strategies for campus communities across the state with the purpose of educating voters about key in-state Democratic endorsed propositions and candidates.Developed and implemented a full Get-Out-the-Vote program for 40 College and Youth professional organizations across the state, which included peer-to-peer mobilizations, canvassing and phonebanking. Coordinated out of state canvasses to battleground states for 500 individuals knocking on over 96,000 doors.

Focused attention to different political and social issues with timely and well-thoughtout programming, with speakers, events, and debates. Highlighted programs/themes: Student Political debate, Diversity, Poverty, Networking, International Relations, Relationship Advice and the Democratic Presidential Debate on campus.Scheduled and managed 26 speakers. Improved my time management, organizational skills, computer skills, and an ability to multitask.

Maintained campaign schedule, staffed candidate statewide as needed and updated calendar. Organized voter contact list, coordinated volunteers, assist with field efforts statewide, and various other needs such as being a sarrogate speaker and campaign representative at events. Planned and executed events, scheduled interviews for media and organization endorsement, coordinated constituent meet and greets.

Coordinated and trained volunteers, organized and planned county-wide field program. Part of the County Convention team and worked on several central committee meetings. Staffed County chair.
