• Designed and implemented a creative solution utilizing CNN to project named "Head Pose Classification and Isolated Word Recognition with Vibration of Vocal Folds while Talking" together with senior from lab.• Accumulated audio voices of Isolated Japanese words and head positions from both male and female with Throat microphone.• Labelled audio data with head positions.• Performed Resampling and normalization as a preprocessing.• Performed speech recognition and head positions classification by using the vibration of speech signals recorded by Throat Microphone.• Deployed Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) for classification and obtained around 66% accuracy for speech recognition and around 33% accuracy for head positions recognition.• Delivered an oral presentation about the project at completion ceremony of JICA Innovative Asia Program and aroused broad interests from researchers of different Asian countries, and received Program Completion Certificate.
