I come from a large Italian family, the middle child of five, originally from New Jersey. In 2018, I relocated to North Carolina. I love going to the gym and engaging in outdoor activities, particularly going on hikes with my dog, Buster.I am a recent graduate of Appalachian State University, achieving Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science, focusing on Pre-Professional Legal Studies, along with double minors in Criminal Justice and Communications. I also had the privilege of being chosen to participate in the departmental honors program for the Department of Government and Justice Studies. It was in this program that I completed a comparative thesis analyzing the crucial issue of The Global LGBTQ+ Human Rights Struggle.During my undergraduate years, I have developed expertise in legal research, courtroom dynamics, and client support. My role as a Paralegal at Dunnagan, Isaacs, & Friley, LLP provided me with opportunities to participate in court proceedings, conduct thorough legal research, and collaborate effectively with a team to ensure a smooth workflow.I am now excited to embark on the next chapter of my academic and professional journey. Looking ahead, I will be starting at Wake Forest University School of Law in Fall '24 with the aim of specializing in human rights, health care, or criminal law, with the ultimate aspiration of one day becoming a trial judge. My motivation to pursue a legal career stems from a desire to be a strong advocate for marginalized voices.
