TripPak Services and ACS Advertising were divested from Xerox and acquired by Pegasus TransTech. During this change, in addition to my existing role as the lead Network systems engineer and infrastructure systems architect for these business units, I assumed management of all Linux host systems (SLES, RHEL, OracleLinux, Apache webfarms, Oracle database servers, BIND/DNS, Cron, Perl and shell scripting), Windows host systems (Hyper-V, AD, IIS, Exchange, Office 365, WSUS, NAS, applications), monitoring systems (Solarwinds Orion: NPM, NCM, APM, NTA, DPM Profiler), and phone systems (ShoreTel).I also resumed as the primary data Storage systems engineer managing vendor relationships, building solutions, and maintaining infrastructure (Pure Storage all flash tier 1 arrays with DR replication, NetApp Unified Storage on FAS series Filers, Starboard hybrid flash and SATA appliances, Nexsan E-Series, EMC CLARiiON, Brocade Silkworm & McData directors, Veeam backup systems & robotic tape libraries, QLogic & Emulex HBAs, Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS, FCoE).I began developing my engineering and administrative skills in VMware vSphere, NSX, and vCloud.

When ACS was purchased by Xerox I took on an additional role. I transitioned in to the lead network systems engineer, while continuing to be an infrastructure systems architect. When TMI was purchased by ACS my primary responsibilities began to change as the Infrastructure team grew. I focused on Data Lifecycle Management and transitioned Microsoft systems engineering to new engineers. I was primarily responsible for all data storage systems including: SAN & fiber-channel systems (EMC, McData, Brocade, QLogic, and Emulex), multi-protocol unified NAS systems (NetApp), the corporate intranet (SharePoint), and data backup systems (Netbackup, CommVault, Overland VTLs and robotic libraries). As a primary ITIL process implementation advisor I developed, maintained, and controlled all data management procedures, processes and, documentation.I earned the 2007 ACS APEX AWARD for architecting and implementing a backup solution that reduced backup windows and increased recovery point reliability. This reduced catastrophic data loss while increasing the organizations ability to recover all critical data.

This was the first of many roles I held within this changing organization. Initially, I was responsible for the design, availability, and performance of all Microsoft OS host systems in the infrastructure, including all applications on them. I worked closely with Unix host systems and DBAs to provide heterogeneous solutions and integrations. Developed support staff SOP and scripted automations. In addition, I engineered and lead a migration from distributed DAS to a consolidated fibre channel SAN using EMC technologies.
