His images have left an indelible imprint on the popular culture.With the backdrop of the music and film industries in Los Angeles, he began his career as an art director in the '80s. Pulling from L.A.s mashup of car culture with surf culture, punk rock and rock and roll, his eclectic approach to design and typography, Sabel moved fluidly in both worlds through an intuitive and diverse approach of distilling campaigns down basic stories and iconic images. Stories connect, comfort and inspire. Marrying that emotional connection of storytelling with bold and iconic imagery has always been at the heart of his work.In the mid-1990s, Sabel joined Walt Disney kicking off a nearly 20-year run creating some of the most unforgettable campaigns of the era.
