Sr Ux Strategist & ResearcherJohnson & Johnson Oct 2022 - May 2023New Brunswick, Nj, UsDuring my time at Johnson & Johnson, I entered a dynamic period marked by pivotal transformations, including the spin-off of the consumer brand Kenvue, a corporate shift towards agile methodologies, the dissolution of the traditional J&J Design team, and the establishment of a groundbreaking Experiential Design team.My initial task involved assessing the digital product landscape within the Quality, Compliance, and Laboratory (QCL) division to strategically deploy future UX practitioners across over 60 digital tools. Presenting my findings to the VP of QCL and Directors, I proposed a model where a select team of seasoned designers could effectively support 29 digital products, embedded within product teams on a quarterly rotation. This presentation resonated with QCL leadership, prompting their commitment to securing $2 million in UX resources to complement the $29 million portfolio budget.Subsequently, I assumed responsibility for supporting the J&J “Comet” team on a five-year endeavor to tailor a new Quality Event Management System (QEM - QMS) provided by ComplianceQuest, a Salesforce vendor, for pharmaceutical products. Joining the Change Control (CC) team during the software requirements definition phase, I facilitated the integration of user feedback into the design process by orchestrating a usability study on a digital prototype. This initiative aimed to explore novel interfaces and workflow concepts, ensuring user-centricity at every stage of development. Methods: In-depth interviews, survey design, rapid prototyping, usability study.Tools: Miro, UX Pin, Microsoft suite, Zoom. -
