Wonderbly (formerly Lost My Name) is an award winning print-on-demand customized childrens' book company that has sold millions of books to children in over 100 countries.I lead the backend team for our e-commerce website as Wonderbly's Principal Engineer. Our team ran, improved and maintained our Ruby on Rails Solidus backend that services many countries and currencies. This included interfacing with various APIs for multiple on-demand print shop partners around the world. I ran our company-wide Splunk integration for log aggregation, searching and analysis. I supported and mentored other developers, and generally wore as many hats as required by startup life!

Bonobos is the largest apparel brand in the U.S. to launch online. Animoto was an early case study in scaling on AWS (https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/aws/animoto-scali/) and Animoto was one of a handful of startups that AWS invested in early on (https://www.reuters.com/article/ctech-us-ml-amazon-cloud-idCATRE7A879820111109).At Animoto I worked in several different roles across the company over the ~6 years I worked there: Starting as employee #7 as a full-stack developer, and continuing as Web team lead, Analytics platform architect, and Senior Platform Developer.In my first few years I helped grow the site by over 2 million users (600% growth) while ensuring speed, reliability and rapid iteration.As Web team lead I remotely led, managed, and mentored the quickly-growing team of web applications engineers.
