I'm on the executive leadership team of Waha, spearheading the translation and localization of their app and curriculum ecosystem into 80 new languages by the end of 2026. This includes working with teams of professionals and volunteers to create and manage high-quality translations and recordings of all our localization assets. I also spend lots of my time fine-tuning our localization workflows to maximize the quality of our translations while minimizing the hours our volunteers need to work. Since I started with Waha, I've lowered the work burden to localize our main curriculum from 500+ hours of work, down to as little as 20 hours, by implementing numerous automations and workflow fixes.I've also been responsible for license acquisition and management of all of our 3rd party licensed material used in our ecosystem (over 90 licensed properties and growing; many of these have been international agreements).Our team is quite small (and our executive leadership team, obviously even smaller), so my responsibilities have regularly also overlapped into all other domains of our organization, including fundraising, marketing, software development, copywriting, and more.
