Justin helped run the local Food Not Bombs Chapter in East Orlando. This team has served thousands of sustainable meals. Responsibilities included management of supplies, team leadership, delegating responsibilities and tasks, quality control, and engaging with low income and homeless persons to leave an impact. Justin currently organizes with the Boulder Food Not Bombs Chapter at a similar capacity.

Justin helps manage the Denver Environmental Performance Program (DEPP). This program uses quantitative and qualitative metrics to continuously improve City and County of Denver's (CCD) Environmental Management System (EMS). The DEPP team expects to help the city regain compliance with ISO 14001 Certification in 2023.
