During my early years at JCI I worked on many custom Lotus Notes Applications.Our IBM Websphere Portal has been migrated over to an Office 365 Online Dedicated environment. Used to support the Employee Portal intranet as an administrator developer before the transition.Developed new Java portlets etc. for the Portal.Communications Officer for the Business Resource Group, SYNERGY the emerging leaders network from FY2013 through FY2015.Vice President for the Business Resource Group, SYNERGY the emerging leaders network FY2016.Helped develop several workflow applications over the years. Upgraded and maintained an Attendance System to allow employees to track their vacation requests and time off.Worked on a large email migration project to move over 100,000 employees, in 71 countries, from Lotus Notes email to Exchange email. I wrote the scheduling tool that allowed us to coordinate the scheduling, scheduling notifications, and business rules around scheduling all people, rooms, resources and shared mailboxes for migration. Data was pulled in from our directories, legal hold databases, Mobile Device Management, software distribution, etc. The email migration team won a Merit Award for this project.

Lotus Notes Domino Developer.Web-enabled databases.Lotus Script agent development.Workflow development.Form / Database development.Did consulting work at Rockwell Automation working on their Channel Distributor Extranet, which was based on several Lotus Notes databases.Coordinated builds with the Administrators, performed support including on-call support.Six month contract at Education Credential Evaluators assisting with testing of web forms and updating of javascript code in a Lotus Notes based web site.Assisted the IT department at Washington County Health Department in Wisconsin build out several electronic health forms which mimicked their corresponding paper-based, state-based forms. This allowed for more efficient tracking of health incidents in the County. Follow-up and tracking of incidents used to require nurses and staff to manually search through manila folders containing information. After the electronic forms system was set up, they were able to search for related incidents, add comments / notes to the forms, etc.In 2005, I started an assignment at Johnson Controls, Inc. to web-enable an Attendance Tracking Database application which allowed for the requesting / tracking of employee's remaining vacation / holidays. Continued to support the application and added many requested enhancements to the system until it was replaced in 2015. The database template was highly configurable, had over 200 separate instances of the database, and was used by over 15,000 employees.Worked on many other Lotus Notes applications / workflow systems over the next years.After working as a contractor at Johnson Controls from 2005-2008, I was hired on as a Full Time Employee,

Lotus Notes developer

I was trained as a Lotus Notes Developer and then sent to Rockwell Automation as a consultant. I worked on various Domino applications including assisting with their Channel Distributor Extranet. I also did help desk support of applications.The contract was originally a temporary contract meant to last three weeks to fill in for an employee that was out on short term medical leave. The contract was extended over the years to eventually just shy of five years.I was able to work alongside several senior developers that taught me many tips & tricks and helped me to learn different development styles. As part of break / fix troubleshooting, and software maintenance, I learned how to read and analyze code that was developed from different developers, languages, and systems.
