Consumer Data and Consent Records on the BlockchainWithin 6 months, we have developed a fully working alpha project and have presented in various Crypto conferences. I have lead a team to build a front-end project from scratch, where the user can build out and configure their organization, who is in it and with what privileges, and view the consumer data and opt-ins and opt-outs that has been stored on the chain.

Oshen has been a multi-year passion project providing many companies with SMS and MMS solutions. I have developed multiple client-portals and back-ends providing mass SMS services for organizations that want to communicate with large lists of subscribers in real-time. These programs have been developed using JavaScript/Typescript, NodeJS, Angular2, React, React Native, Redux, Material-UI, Mongo, PostgreSQL, etc., and hosted on a cloud-based, ephemeral server with Heroku and AWS.

Michael has been contracted to work multiple projects, ranging from developing front and back-end infrastructures to general consultation for many years. These work items have included developing in Python, React, AngularJS, Node.js, Javascript, PHP, HTML/CSS, and more for various enterprise tools, apps, and projects of different sizes. I founded an LLC to provide quality digital forensics contracting work for my clients. The company provides excellent and personable services for small to large entities requiring cyber forensic assistance. My findings have been used in many cases ranging from assisting in state-wide investigations to being presented for large corporations in federal court.• Uses a deep knowledge of the inner workings of Windows, UNIX, OSX operating systems, their file-systems, and their stored media to determine sequences of events and report them in a legal manner.• Uses knowledge of networks, their components, firewalls, IPS/IDS and various other equipment and log files to help with investigations such that the analysis is suitable for presentation in a court of law.• Uses various tools such as EnCase, FTK, Volatility, various forensic hard drive duplicators, and custom tools to assist in carving deleted files and gaining in-depth analysis.• Uses and supervises Chain of Custody policies, procedures, and secure storage of documents and evidence.• Prepares written and oral reports to communicate findings to all applicable ranks of the organization, accommodating the various technological backgrounds.

Contracted for Nike under their “Content Rendering System” team, who renders all email campaigns and transactional emails coming from the Nike Ecosystem (Nike, Nike Factory Store, Air Jordan). Expanded their AWS ecosystem to incorporate a fallback structure using Typescript and Handlebars, where if one set of values are not found during render, it would attempt the next until the default is reached, leading to more personal emails. This Dynamic Newsletter feature is currently a multi-million dollar revenue stream for Nike.Expanded validation for threads/commands being passed into our system from other parts of Nike, mapping to the appropriate structure and providing errors when necessary.Now part of their “Core” group, who is focusing on the infrastructure and performance of the CRS microservice environment, specializing in Terraform and Terragrunt.Ecosystem includes: AWS, S3, Terragrunt/Terraform custom EC2 instances, with services written predominantly in Typescript.

• Wrote software applications for comScore’s “Social Analytics Platform” application suite. These programs were developed using Linux, Apache, Python, JavaScript, Mongo, MySQL, AWS, and Django to gather, ingest, store, organize, and maintain data from various social platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. • Created and used mathematical models to gauge sentiment and demographical patterns from the data and report them to our clients through graphic-based web portals and reports. Other social-based jobs were performed on a client-by-client basis.• Consulted with clients and stakeholders to gather information about program needs, objectives, functions, features and input and output requirements.• Invented, planned, and developed new modules and complex enhancements to the system.

As Michael has been working full-time, he had to put this on hold for the past couple of years. He has completed his Master's and wants to finish his PhD in the upcoming years. During his time in graduate school, he participated in various research projects, including:Bloodstain Pattern Analysis Tool Development▪ Through extensive, multiple-year research in the mathematics and physics of bloodstains, he created an application that can assist forensic investigators in the field determine the angle of incidence of a bloodstain. The application uses mathematical models to better recreate the sequences of events around the scene of a crime.Vulnerabilities of an Automobile/Forensics of an Automobile▪ One of his graduate classes chose to do a research project involving the IoT of a large electronic object, namely an automobile. They used a hacked bluetooth OBD receiver, Wireshark, and various other tools to map how the car was communicating and storing information that could be used in a forensics investigation or could be used in a malicious manner by an opposing entity.Steganography Tool Development▪ Steganography is the practice of hiding information in plain site and acts as a form of encryption. He developed a python program that compressed any file, turned it into a list of hex/binary/mod(x) values, and added that as noise to a sound wave. The program could then decrypt this message if one knew the file contained this information. To show this worked, he hid a 3-D printable gun inside of the song "Bohemian Rhapsody" by Queen. Malware Analysis, Ethical Reverse Engineering▪ One of his favorite aspects of graduate school was using decompilers and debuggers to figure out how a certain program worked. No matter what language it was written in, it is possible to learn how it was coded, learn about the malware to protect against it, and even change it to do what he want it to do. This has been instrumental in our fight against malicious software.

• Participated in on-site and off-site computer forensic investigations for Enterprise Risk Management’s clients regarding fraud, espionage, information breaches, and various other incidents. Provided forensic imaging of environments, malware reverse-engineering and analysis, evidence processing, and forensic analysis using software such as Encase, FTK, and Volatility.• Audited corporations and other entities in regard to various forms of General IT, Network, Application Security, and Risk Management against various industry standards, including GLBA, FACTA, PCI-DSS, FERPA, and HIPAA -compliance. • Directed the forensic science branch of the company, including making bids, expanding the business, recruiting, training, and management of employees.• Testified expert opinion and evidence review in court, depositions, and various other legal hearings.• Presented on security incident response, computer forensics and cyber risk to various audience types.• Participated in penetration testing and ethical hacking for Enterprise Risk Management’s clients.• Assigned to Enterprise Risk Management’s digital forensics lab, including ongoing hardware and software updates, replacements, and additions.• Developed Enterprise Risk Management's standard operating procedures for digital forensic investigations.

• Assisted local and state police with a large, multi-million dollar, white-collar crime case regarding a complex network of various machines involved in criminal activity, where I was the lead cyber forensics investigator • Coordinated project and oversaw the graduate student team. • Indexed, carved and analyzed over 8,000 GB of information for single investigation using Forensic Toolkit and associated digital forensic tools. • Worked closely with local, state, and federal police, and communicated findings verbally and in formal reports.

• Assigned to help and perform full casework for the digital investigation unit for the Lafayette Police Department.• Imaged and analyzed over 20 mobile phones, 15 hard drives from laptops and personal computers.• Discovered and analyzed evidence for multiple cases involving narcotics, homicide, burglary, and distribution and creation of child pornography.• Trained in and assisted in further officer training in Forensic Toolkit, FTK Imager, Mobile Phone Examiner, Cellebrite, SleuthKit, EnCase, Wireshark, among others.
