Science on the Move is a statewide educational initiative that works with schools, and youth-serving organizations to provide education resources to increase students’ interest in and exposure to STEM- Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.Project Management:• Directed projects from conceptualization through implementation and evaluation.• Collected and analyzed data for evaluation; created and disseminated reports.• Developed standard processes and documentation for project practices.• Oversaw budgeting, expense reporting, and risk management.• Drafted and presented project proposals both internally and to stakeholders/sponsors.• Served as liaison to business stakeholders and executive sponsors.Marketing & Events:• Researched, created, and executed digital marketing strategy. • Created all content for social media, email newsletter, website, and media relations. • Collected and analyzed data from social media channels, website, and surveys.• Managed annual community and statewide events (see Projects section for details).• Negotiated prices, timelines, services, and terms with vendors.Personnel Management & Training:• Chaired project teams, delegated tasks, defined timelines, and managed workflow processes.• Created, executed, and evaluated staff training and development. • Recruited, trained, and supervised interns and volunteers.Fundraising & Development:• Actively researched and pursued federal, state, and corporate grant proposals.• Created and cultivated relationships with sponsor companies and potential sponsors.• Created and managed contracts with schools, afterschool programs, and youth-serving organizations.• Managed timely and accurate grant evaluation, quality compliance, program fulfillment and reporting.
