About Lauren Wise

In the midst of building a notable career within global technology consulting, I found myself chronically stressed, exhausted and sliding into a deep state of burnout. I had spent 8 years climbing the corporate ladder, beginning my career as a software engineer and eventually exiting my tenure as a Director of Software Engineering — leading teams of upwards of 100 associates and responsible for the overall delivery strategy and growth of multi-million dollar revenue targets. Feeling completely overstimulated, misaligned, disengaged and dissociated in my non-working hours, I knew something needed to change. It was becoming painfully apparent my body could no longer support the amount of energy required for me to continue to sustain my current pace — and quite frankly, I didn’t want to continue at my current pace, it was destroying me.October 2021, my entire perspective shifted. My personal healing journey led me to the remote island of Crete, Greece, for my first ever women’s retreat. In the following week, I was initiated into the incredible healing power of sisterhood, neo-Tantric principles, and somatic expression of stored trauma. It was the first time in my life I truly felt at peace within my body. It was here, held by the energy of the Grecian Goddesses & Minoan women, I discovered the profound potential of my own personal transformation through cultivating deep intimacy within my body. This awakening became the catalyst for a deeper commitment for my own healing journey. Upon returning home, I immediately hired my first coach to continue integrating and implementing the internal regulation tools I was so desperately craving. Fueled by the pursuit of living a life filled with spaciousness, intention, and deep presence of my internal world, I am dedicated to continuously healing my nervous system after decades of dysregulation.Today, I specialize in guiding women towards living fully embodied lives. My coaching mission revolves around helping them reestablish a relationship with their bodies built on a foundation of love, safety, and trust. Together, we will navigate the terrain of excavating and dispelling limiting beliefs, paving the way for a resounding HELL YES existence. I empower women to 'do less' and create space for more bliss.

  • Montana Code School
    Teaching Assistant
Montana Code School May 2016 - Aug 2016
Upon completion of graduating the Montana Code School, I was brought on to continue the vision of the MT Code School, starting with the inaugural class in Bozeman, MT. Our program includes the teaching of HTML, CSS, Javascript, NodeJS, and the use of NoSQL Databases via MongoDB. We get our students well versed in the use of Git & Github in order to properly source code. Command line protocol is a necessity, as well as delving into the importance of good UX design. The use of SQL databases is also apart of the curriculum, providing the most common industry cases of data storage. We also provide outside industry persons to join in the classroom, allowing students the chance to learn from leading experts & pose real world scenarios. I have been responsible for assisting students through the day to day challenges of computer programming. I am able to help convey complex ideas and methodologies seen in the tech industry today. We follow an Agile/Lean approach to programming, including daily stand-ups, use of kanbans, SCRUM and sprint planning. Pair programming and mobbing are included in our daily routine, promoting healthy teamwork experiences. We provide our students with an environment to work together to solve problems and encourage a start-up feel, very similar to what they should expect post graduation. There was also use of Wisetail Learning Management System, that required weekly planning of curriculum with sourcing correct resources and tutorials to further the students knowledge. This modular system was yet another tool to help gain understanding of leading programming designs in Montana. My previous knowledge base of business management assisted in a smooth transition of preparedness for this new business venture. Instructors had very minimal time to prepare - which was made easier by my efficiency and organization skills. My previous experience as a Montana Code School student has provided great insight for current students.
