But even more than that, I love to build exceptional teams that can architect even better solutions to those very same problems.My job is to bring the best out of engineers and their managers, to get people excited about the work they're doing, in tune with each other's strengths and weaknesses, and inspired to outperform by creating palpable and continuous momentum.Most recently, I was the Co-Founder and CTO, and then later CEO, of River, a machine-learning-based news aggregator and search engine. After becoming the highest-rated news app in the App Store, River was acquired by Pluto News. Before that, I led the development of urban freight projects for Sidewalk Labs, an Alphabet company.
