During my time with the company I have progressed from Sales Assistant in a high street store to High Street Manager then into Superstores as Assistant Manager, stepping between Currys and PCWorld Finally in a People Assistant Manager role in a 3 in 1 Superstore.• I deputise and carry out the duties of the Store Manager in their absence. • I manage all the Colleagues Rosters, Payroll, Holidays any HR issues, LT Sickness etc also any Disciplinary’s for the Store and also CPW compliance investigations for the Region, in accordance to company and FCA policies • I handle recruitment for the store booking Inductions and I ensure the Colleagues online compliance is completed and up to date each year. • I ensure the Colleagues skill set is increased via monitored ongoing Product and Development plans are completed within set timescales. So that all colleagues have clear action plans on furthering their career , thus building a talent pool for the future. • I would role model, coach and encourage the team to provide an incredible shopping experience via exceptional customer service, ensuring they also demonstrate the company core values through team meetings and one to one performance reviews.•I would monitor and support the wellbeing of all Store colleagues promoting equality ,inclusion, diversity and generally good working practices, also organising team building activities outside work to bond the team. • As part of the management team I help improve sales growth across the store through consistent execution of the customer plan and the retail plan, while also maintaining up to date knowledge of processes, communication changes and store management procedures ensuring all are kept updated.•I was responsible for the effective safe operations of the store by company legal requirements in respects of Health and Safety, Risk assessments and all stock and cash management processes.
