About Brian Sentance

As an entrepreneur and corporate leader, I have a proven track record of achieving success in data technology, AI, analytics, financial markets, marketing, and people management. One of my greatest strengths is my ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to business users, which has helped me become a very effective product evangelist. Currently, I hold the position of Head of EMEA at Datasynthesis, where I have led the delivery of data quality management solutions to financial markets firms. In addition, I serve as a board advisor to several organizations, including quantitative trading strategy provider OptiRisk Systems, Thurn Group in sonar technology, and In Partnership International, who provide blended learning services to the insurance industry.Beyond my professional endeavors, I also enjoy giving back to the community through my ongoing involvement as a board member of the American Youth Table Tennis Organization (AYTTO). The organization provides school-aged children in New York City with programs designed to enhance their physical health, character, and academic achievement. I myself keep fit through cycling, running and pilates, and I enjoy reading a good book whether fiction or historical. My academic background includes completing a PhD in finance and optimization at Imperial College London while working at British Telecom Group Treasury. During my time at JPMorgan, London, I developed equity derivative pricing models. Furthermore, I co-founded data management ISV Xenomorph Software Limited and served as its CEO, regularly speaking at industry events. While working in New York, I was selected as a member of the Steering Committee of PRMIA and was also recognized by Institutional Investor as a member of their finance industry Tech 50 for two consecutive years.To continue my professional growth, then after exiting Xenomorph I completed an MSc in Systems Intelligence at De Montfort University, where I refreshed and extended my knowledge of AI, machine learning and natural language programming.
