With over 75 years in the food distribution service, Nicholas & Company delivers exceptional products and services throughout the Intermountain West.Although I was originally hired in the shipping & receiving department, my skills in finding solutions for people-related issues led me to quickly advance to HR support for the SLC transportation and warehouse.

I enlisted as a private, but quickly moved up the ranks to take on more responsibility as a Sergeant. It was my duty to establish and maintain stock records and other documents such as inventory, material control, accounting and supply reports. I reviewed and verified quantities received against bills of contracts, purchase requests and shipping.
