I am a Humble Programmer (as explained by Edsger W. Dijkstra); I love to write code even if it’s in CoffeeScript. It was love at first “Hello World” and a match made in heaven. My passion for mathematics and puzzles has kept me engaged in solving problems, then on paper, now on computers. I have developed products in a variety of programming languages; from C to C#; for Windows to Android.My current area of focus is all things Security. I have years of hands-on experience in Security Engineering, Compliance and Security Audits, Security Governance, Incident Management, and Secure System Design. My insatiable curiosity to learn more about security led me through CISSP and Masters in Cybersecurity.My ideologies are: ‘Discomfort is the catalyst for Transformation’ and ‘Structure supports Growth, rather than hinder it’.I am a passionate teacher and an inquisitive student. I seek opportunities to learn and find prospects to teach. Getting down in the dirt with people and seeing the world through their eyes, I find it energizing and mesmerizing.I take a stand for causes I believe deeply to be right, even if it puts me in minority. I’m at my best when I’m persuading people to see what is right and do what is right - even if they are tempted to do otherwise.I have been fortunate and lucky to see ups and downs in my life. Other than delivering a baby, I think I have seen it all. In short, my life was rich, colorful, and worth living for.
