  • Career Break
    Personal Goal Pursuit
    Career Break Sep 2023 - Jun 2024
As a kid, I always wanted to understand what it's like to work in the filmmaking industry. So, in June 2023, I took a break and enrolled in the UCLA Extension filmmaking program, focusing on post-production due to my love for tech. The program offered in-person classes on various subjects like video editing, color grading, post-production management, DIT workflows, sound design, and more. It provided a fantastic blend of theory and hands-on experience. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at UCLA and highly recommend the program. However, I found the filmmaking industry operates quite differently from the tech industry, which I didn't particularly enjoy. Despite this, I don't regret taking the break to attend the program. As a content strategist, creator, and manager, it has equipped me with valuable knowledge and experience to create better video and audio content.
