I am an Associate Professor in Mathematics and Data Analytics at UCL, deeply passionate about mathematics and dedicated to inspiring the same enthusiasm in my students. I believe strongly in the transformative power of education to enhance life opportunities, especially for students from diverse backgrounds. Having overcome significant challenges myself, I am committed to supporting others in their educational journeys.With over 20 years of experience in Higher Education, I have held various senior management roles. As the Director of Postgraduate Business and Management programmes, I co-managed a large department, mentored staff, and led several curriculum development projects. I have extensive experience in designing and delivering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, guiding them from initial concept through to successful implementation.I am a proponent of creative teaching and assessment methods, drawing on my broad teaching experience and research contributions. My primary research focus is on the intersection of complex and functional analysis, which has applications in optimisation, machine learning, and mathematical modelling.Additionally, I have a strong interest in computer science and software development. I am proficient in multiple programming languages, including Java, R, Python, C++, Perl, SQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, LaTeX, and TikZ, and enjoy teaching these skills to my students.
