With over a decade in the desktop and mobile software industry as a software tester and support manager, I have overcome countless dilemmas facing all levels of stakeholders. In addition to my software Quality Assurance and technical troubleshooting skills, I have used my experience in CRM administration, reporting and data analysis, writing and editing, and web development to bring a holistic approach to ensuring a quality experience for the customer.I love working collaboratively to overcome monumental obstacles such as implementing a new helpdesk system within an unbelievably small window of time or tackling a brand new product involving countless mathematical permutations that need to be fully tested. But I don't shirk from leadership either, having trained or mentored coworkers and direct reports from basic job workflow or Excel tricks to the more advanced and nuanced aspects of our product.Outside of work, I enjoy volunteering as a tutor to underprivileged middle school students and encouraging them to plan for their future through excelling in their classes, with an aim for a college education that many of them have never even considered within their reach before."Matt immediately identifies the existence and nature of problems.
