I was the shipping and logistics coordinator for the Bloomington facility of Onto Innovation. As the SME, I work with our other offices both domestic and international. I set up capital equipment shipments as well as smaller package shipments and ensure they meet compliance standards. These include, IPPC and ECCN, I make contact with the customers freight forwarder and prepare customs documents for each shipment. In addition, I crate and securely package the equipment and load them for departure.

my job requires that i be an amateur at everything. the same day i will help customers with plumbing problems, painting advice, electrical questions, then spend a half hour putting together a personal one of a kind device made from some of everything to fix the customers odd problem. i regularly have to think outside of the box to achieve their needs.
