To do this we start with team mindset + alignment, with that foundation established, we focus on process.A design teacher of mine once said: "A designer without a process is just a random idea generator"; said differently: consistent value delivery depends on methodology.As a huge believer in 'less is more', I typically look to solve problems by removing complexity until we have a stable foundation to build on.As a coach and leader, I'm intensely focused on clear communications of vision, purpose, and proper alignment within teams and organizations. Outside of delivering valuable projects, I love nothing more than supporting my design team's professional and personal growth. I encourage open and honest but also disciplined communication from teams across the organization, always with the goal of creating a more inclusive design process. Strongly believing that most conflicts can be painlessly resolved when purposes, motives, and prioritization logic are well defined and widely available, I favour the implementation of systems that create transparency and allow collaboration and input from other teams. As a multi-disciplined designer and former exec, I'm comfortable working with everyone, from Jr. Devs to CEO's and adapting my communication style accordingly.
