• Lead the meticulous analysis of comprehensive integrated grid load forecast, medium-term generation despatch plan and long-term generation master plan, with the primary objective of optimising the sustainability and reliability of power resources and ensure power security and meet the evolving future load demand within Sarawak and the Region.• Spearheading the conceptualisation, business case development and strategic execution of critical studies and projects, including the assessment of Value of Loss Load, the implementation of Demand Response (DR) program, and the integration of cutting-edge technologies such as Solar and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), which encompass a wide spectrum of transformative endeavours.• Conduct a comprehensive benchmarking analysis of the Sarawak Grid Code in comparison to the standards and best practices from other utilities. Involve in thorough evaluation and the provision of strategic recommendations for potential enhancements or amendments to optimise the performance and compliance of the grid.• Oversee the accurate and timely submission of the 5-year generation and transmission master plan to the regulator in Sarawak, in full compliance with the Sarawak Grid Code.• Lead, orchestrate and collaborate seamlessly with an external consultant to oversee and execute specific technical and strategic studies with adept management skills, technical acumen and strategic vision.• Effectively utilise both internal and external data and information to develop practical and attainable long-term scenario plans for SEB, guiding the organization's strategic course with forward-looking insights. This entails leveraging concrete data provided by the Grid System Operator, encompassing the Daily Generation Despatch Plan, Daily Despatch Report, and Annual Grid Generation Plan.
