I'm Nomi and I'm a freelancer. I make 2D & 3D illustrations and videos. Sometimes, I also make visual assets for games. I kind of come from film & photography background and previously I worked more with real life footage as a camera person and editor. I also worked for TV very briefly. I think I'm decent at fact checking but in my free time I started doubting if facts are everything–alas, I'm a little too much of a realist to commit to daydreaming. (sorry but birds are real if I'm real) I also run a community for arthouse/experimental games called Gæmz Meetup (https://gaemz.carrd.co/) and organise some events. I have been also co-organising Scrambleshake events with friends to make people cook scrambled eggs and talk about everything at gamedev events (we are parasitic). I've also been spotting and writing about ice cream sculptures on Ital Eis Straße https://www.instagram.com/italeisstr/ Right now I'm working on another dog castle game with my friend Horatiu. Hopefully we won't have to abandon it before we release anything. Wish us luck!!!!!

FounderGæmz Jan 2019 - PresentGæmz Meetup is a meetup for art/experimental games people. A completely non-profitable event I've been able to run just because everyone is nice. Originally I started it to meet & connect people with similar interests & insights in the area but due to the covid-19 pandemic, we became more online. Currently, I'm trying to bring it back as a monthly event but we will probably remain as an online-offline hybrid community. We organise regular gatherings and other events such as game jam and drawing sessions.

My duties included drawing story boards, editing assets (artworks and text), compositing in after effects, and editing videos. We normally handled each project individually from making story boards to editing but I’ve worked with my colleague a couple of times and that was a worthwhile experience.
