About Theresa Workman
I have been a notary public since 2014. In 2017 I successfully started my own business called The Notary Tree. When I wasn't working at my day job with the Franklin County Clerk of Courts Auto Title Division as a Title Management Specialist, I was driving to around central Ohio as a mobile notary. Most of my clients were in nursing homes or hospitals and not able to travel. I was able to meet their needs and drive to their location to provide my services as a travelling notary. When Covid-19 hit, it changed everything. I wasn't essential so I lost my county job and didn't qualify for unemployment. Then I ended up losing my house, next was my car. Thankfully I already had 3 years of roots from The Notary Tree already growing. I did everything I could think of to get my business name out there. I now work from home meeting clients who come to me 24/7 to get their documents notarized. Covid-19 was a blessing in disguise for me. I'm so grateful I took the leap of faith and opened The Notary Tree. I have plans to branch out to other areas of services I could offer. Possibly even go global! The sky's the limit for me and I'm only getting started!
