I graduated from Murdoch University in January 2023, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in History and completing broadening electives in area such as Philosophy, international relations, politics, journalism and criminology. Graduating with distinction and receiving eligibility for honors, I completed several academic research papers, historical inquiries, literature reviews and independent research projects. Through my university studies, I have developed exceptional research and analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail, enabling me to complete projects on time to the highest standard. tertiary education has also provided me with excellent written and verbal communication skills, regularly delivering informative presentations to the class on a variety of topics, which will allow me to effectively communicate with internal or external stakeholders with tact and professionalism. As well as providing me with a deep understanding of the issues and events which have shaped the present, my arts degree also provided me with transferable skills vital to the modern workplace, such as a complete understanding of the Microsoft Office suite and high-quality writing skills.Additionally, I have gained two-years of valuable experience working in customer-focused workplaces in local government. Working for the City of Kwinana at the Kwinana Recquatic since November 2021, I have provided customer service through running a weekly sports competition, as well as plan and deliver high-quality swimming lessons to children of all ages at the Kwinana Swim School. With an emphasis on inclusion, I tailor each lesson to the specific needs to each child, including those with special needs as part of the award-winning Special Access and Inclusion Lessons (SAIL) program at the Recquatic. I am committed to going above and beyond to deliver fantastic programs and events for the community, receiving special recognition from the WA Royal Life Saving Society and the Kwinana Recquatic for my excellent SAIL classes.
