For the first three years my job consisted primarily of keeping everything clean and fully stocked, as well as dealing with and taking care of any and all customers. This past summer, because of the changes brought by Covid-19, my job became quite a bit more important. I took on a more managerial role, making sure all of the employees were keeping busy and focused. I dealt with many belligerent costumers each day, and learned some valuable skills on deescalating relatively hostile situations. I also helped the owners design new ways to serve customers in which we could keep contact to a minimum and social distancing to a maximum.
