Dronfield Psychological Therapies is a small private practice offering open-ended counselling sessions. I have completed my 100-hours placement, as part of my Diploma in Counselling Practice, here and I continue to voluntarily work with clients until I qualify. I have received excellent feedback from many clients and so have been offered freelance work once I am qualified.As part of my role here I have:- Completed over 120 hours of one-to-one counselling sessions - Worked with clients aged 19-65+. This has ranged from 6 session work to clients who I continue to work with after 50 sessions and 18 months of work.- Worked with clients with a wide range of experiences including ADHD, childhood trauma, neglect, bereavement, physical abuse, bi-polar, substance misuse, relationships issues, workplace bullying, sexual identity and more.- Managed my own caseload, client scheduling and record keeping.- Worked both face-to-face and online.

As one of two advertising managers at UKClimbing I was responsible for the principle source of income for the busiest climbing website in the world. UKClimbing is a small international owner-managed business which runs a news and articles-based climbing website, as well as owning its sister company Rockfax which creates and publishes rock climbing guidebooks and an app.My key roles at UKClimbing included:- Managing client accounts of national and international outdoor brands, distributors and retailers. This involves dealing with multiple stakeholders in each organisation from marketing managers and PR agencies to global heads of departments.- Managing the marketing strategy and delivery for Rockfax Digital, the world’s leading guidebook app, including social media and newsletter campaigns, video and content updates and partner relationships.- Presenting our weekly news show, and gear reviews, to camera for YouTube.- Designing, managing and servicing short and long-term advertising campaigns for current and prospective clients.- Testing and reviewing outdoor products and writing editorial reviews.- Invoicing, financial forecasting and ensuring the advertising team is meeting targets.- Contributing to and managing the UKClimbing forums which can include difficult public conversations on topics such as sexism and racism.- Selling and managing advertising in Rockfax guidebook publications.

Learning Light is a small owner-managed business supplying e-learning consultancy, training and resources to the public and private sectors. As part of my role there:- I managed two websites, including a catalogue of e-learning courses.- I worked with customers to provide advice and manage large scale deployment of e-learning courses.- I managed the company social media accounts.

During my two internships at SHM I worked for both SHM ltd and the SHM foundation - the commercial and charitable sides of the organisation. SHM use their academic grounding to provide insight in to the issues that organisations and people face.At SHM I both participated in and led projects for numerous clients, which involved me in team management, research, interviewing and report writing. For the SHM foundation, I played a role in the Youth Commission UK project, which aims to get young people involved with the decisions of the UK Police Commissioners. This led me to work with a variety of young people, organising and facilitating events from which I collected information for SHM's aims and collated it in to reports and blogs.

I worked at Dishes as a part-time member of staff whilst at secondary school, and in my first years of university.During my time at Dishes I was responsible for purchasing stock, preparing food for the chefs, maintenance and cleanliness of the kitchen to HACCP standards, and ensuring an efficient supply of materials to the front of house.During my time at Dishes I progressed through various roles in the kitchen. Working here always required good teamwork and communication with a variety of people.
