As a teacher business economics at Stichting Fons Vitae Lyceum, I have over 20 years of experience in educating and inspiring students to learn and apply economic concepts and skills. I am also a teacher trainer who helps other educators improve their pedagogy and curriculum design.I am passionate about economics education and its relevance for the society and the environment. That is why I am actively involved in several associations and projects that aim to promote and enhance the quality and innovation of economics teaching and learning. I am a board member of AEEE (Association of European Economics Education) and VECON (Association for Dutch Economics Teachers), where I contribute to organizing biannual conferences, advocating for teachers' interests, and developing new guidelines for business economics. I also participate in Checkitin, a project that connects and opens up students at secondary schools with real-world economic issues and challenges.
