Spent my first years in Houston, Texas as brother to 3 other siblings and son of Diplomatic Parents after which we moved back to South Africa.Started pre school in the lovely coastal town of George, South Africa. We didn't stay long after my dad got transferred again and we ended in Cape Town, South Africa. Time came to finally start my 12 year schooling career which I kicked off at Welgemoed Primary School and was fortunate enough to stay until completion of Grade 7 after which I attended, arguably, one of the best all boys schools in the world, Paul Roos Gymnasium. As boys that age I was no different and had my fair share of general mischief but also learned the core values of life. After High School I took a gap year to play rugby abroad and returned in 2002 to start my Bachelors Degree in Marketing at the University of South Africa.As I always wanted to be independent and be the master of my own destiny, my first job was as a lifeguard at the age of 15. At that stage of your life all that matters during summer holidays are girls and pocket money and lifesaving seemed to bring both those together pretty nicely. I ended up doing 5 summers of life saving at various beaches around the Western Cape which also kept me fit and healthy.After school and taking a gap year, time came to study and get a proper job. God knows how I ended up in aviation but somehow I did and my first salary based job was as a Marketing Manager at Base 4 Aviation, a Cape Town based helicopter company.I soon started to broker helicopter sales and a sales division was born....After spending some time at the company I wanted to explore my own opportunities and started 2 other aviation companies, PEH and 360 Aviation in 2005 and 2007 respectively.I am now a full time independent contractor for a Cyprus based company in brand integrity and aviation. I am an Ironman Athete. Completed Ironman 70.3 South African and Ironman Nelson Mandela Bay. Next goal is qualifying for Kona by 35.
