Trained and operated the Base Expeditionary Targeting and Surveillance Sensors-Combined (BETSS-C) system and using the FLIR camera system to perform surveillance and targeting capabilities for base defense and perimeter base protection. Provided operator level instruction on the use of hardware, software, fiber optics, modems, and Daytime and Infrared (IR) cameras in COP Shocker while embedded with an actively deployed unit Extensively trained on setup of the system into the Base Defense Operations Centers (BDOC) Troubleshoot and isolated faults down to the component level and provided support in replacement of component.

Qatar

Serve as weapons custodian under supervision of Arms Room Officer. All maintenance and custodian duties are performed in accordance with DOD and DOA (AR 190-11 and DA Pamphlet 750-8) orders and regulations, and under the direct supervision of the Arms Room Officer. Ability to perform direct support and general support maintenance and repairs on automatic pistols, pump action shotguns, automatic carbines, and automatic machine guns. Duties also include assisting instructors in maintenance of US Organic Weapon lesson plans, student guides, and other training material. Conduct surveillance/counter-surveillance of installation using Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) and the Intrusion Detector System (IDS). Document all activities, know all control functions and system capabilities of IDS and CCTV cameras, and know how to troubleshoot problems in a timely manner.

Directly responsible for providing static and mobile security for a US Force Protection Agency, anti and counter terrorism Level A communication site and all assigned personnel; transported US Military weapons to and from military operations Responsible for sector security, access control, explosive detection, and hostile crowd control. Act as a security expert/advisor for the protection and defense of the Missile Defense Agency equipment, and personnel who operate and maintain it against acts of terrorism, hostile threats, sabotage, and criminal activity. Provided U.S. Military Officials and Japanese Government Agencies with security when the came to monitor classified equipment vital to national security. Coordinate with Japanese National Military and the Japanese Chief of Investigation for security operations.

Qatar

Responsibilities included perimeter security of Camp As Saliyah; verified and reviewed all documentation used by any personnel attempting to access base. Used military access matrix for determination of access level and implementation of security measures. Performed physical searches of all vehicles, personnel, and equipment entering Camp As Saliyah containing weapons, ammunition, classified material, contraband, and/or any kind of explosive material. Observed all activities in the area of operation to determine any physical security or potential terrorist threats. Defense Biometrics Identification System (DBIDS) operator on installation to help personnel enter and exit and troubleshoot problems with the system laptop or handhelp PDA Briefed and instructed guards on what to do or not with the DBIDS system Was the Point of Contact between the guards operating the equipment and the DBIDS manger for any information or notifications on equipment.

Kosovo

Responsibilities include perimeter security of Camp Bondsteel and continual physical security of the Tactical Operation Center and the Sensitive Compartment Information Center. Verified and reviewed of all documentation used by any personnel attempting to access Camp Bondsteel. Used military access matrix for determination of access level and implementation of security measures. Performed physical searches of all vehicles, personnel, and equipment entering Camp Bondsteel. Inspected and verified of proper clearance and need for access for all personnel entering Multi National Brigade East (MNB-E) Tactical Operation Center and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility. Used multiple DOD approved databases and documentation to verify clearances. Provided armed escort service to senior civilian and military officials. Verification that all visiting personnel are properly briefed, badged, cleared, and escorted. Act as POC for all physical security matters while on shift. Ensure perimeter and interior is secured and all classified or sensitive information and material is properly secured in accordance with DOD regulations. Ensure entrance and outer perimeter is secured at all times and that at no times does any media storage or transmission devices (memory sticks, computers, PDA’s, cameras, cell phones, two way radio, etc) enter the SCIF.

Glennville, Ga

Responsibilities included but not limited to the physical security and prevention of escape for approximately 1600 violent criminals; oversight and control of all inmate yard activities to include church services. Supervised and assisted in routine cell inspections and physical searches utilized for the confiscation of illegal contraband. Supervised inmates during cleaning of living areas while also monitoring the use of controlled chemicals in compliance with all state and local operating procedures. Supervision of violent and unstable prisoners assigned to the isolation and segregation unit; resolved all disputes, arguments, and physical altercations among inmates.
