In 2011 I decided to leave private initiative and government jobs behind and work for myself, which I have been doing ever since. I offer my services mainly as a Software Developer and IT Consultant. Since December 2011, I am involved in a project called SIGS, which in Portuguese stands for "Integrated Union Management System". The whole solution sits on top of a general purpose platform called simply SIG, "Integrated Management System".Among other things, SIGS has a Online voting system module, which has been used by a major government agency union to make their elections nation wide, and integrates it's service potentials to a website that is part of the solution, to deliver quality and relevant benefits to the union members, the non-members and the general public, if desired.Right now I am involved in a research to migrate the business side of the platform to a technology called Node.JS, a JavaScript library for server side applications, which acts also as the web server, allowing the designer to accommodate it's own ideas and problem solving necessities into the core of the web server, controlling events and responses directly.

Software development, data modeling, server administration and requirements analysis.

I designed and implemented a complete business automation system for a retail hardware company which had 3 shops plus a central office and stock. The solution included front office, stock control and monitoring, sales control and business intelligence. A payroll system module was designed and implemented for testing later on, but never put in production.

I managed a two shop operation for a small business I had myself started when I lived in Boa Vista a few years back. I was responsible for sales management, operational structure, employee overseeing and IT solutions.

I designed and implemented an unified solution that connected different government agencies that were located on different states. The main question that the application was designed to solve was "How can the governor and his staff keep track of the different projects concerning his government plan?". The agency in which this solution was implemented was responsible to find federal resources to fund state initiatives.I also took care of the infra structure of the department, acting as a Sysadmin.

I was responsible for the Web Development side of the tax and finances department, providing a variety of public services, that would be otherwise presential, via Web Based applications integrated with the internal software and data storage architecture. I also managed the department's Tech support team and was the Webmaster of their website, for which I earned two consecutive IG Award for the Best Government Portal.
