I am a Criminal Justice Student at North Carolina A&T State University, with aspirations to be apart of the Fall 2025 J.D. candidate cycle. I am seeking experience in the legal arena. I am interested in public policy, case management, advocacy, and law. In April of 2023, I was appointed as a Court Appointed Special Advocate through the Guilford County Courts. I had the opportunity to work in case management and to oversee cases of children residing in foster care. It was through this program, that It was affirmed for me that Law was the path for me.In culmination, I am the founder of a nonprofit organization “The Rise Up Program”, which is a mentorship program for underdeveloped youth and students in my community. I started this initiative in 2018, and it is the essence of my background, story, where I am and where I want to go.
