I have 20 years experience in the clinical practice of gastroenterology and have worked for over 15 years in a large group model integrated delivery system. In addition to experience managing a department of 17 physicians, I also have experience with clinical research in cancer screening and implementing large clinical programs. For the last 11 years I have been the clinical lead for colorectal cancer screening, leading a clinical program serving the nearly 1 million KP members who are eligible for colon cancer screening. I have been Chief of Gastroenterology at the Walnut Creek medical center since 2012.
