For the last three years, I was an overnight porter at the hotel in Melbourne while taking my bachelor's degree at university. As a part of a very limited overnight team, I was responsible for several operations like checking in guests, organizing valet parking, performing overnight audits on luggage storage and car park, billing guests for additional hotel amenities, doing housekeeping duties if required, and resolving any possible issues as a frontline worker.
