Responsibilities:•Sell company products and services to customers who call in to the branch by talking with customers, gathering information about their needs, assisting customers with technical information about company products, soliciting orders from the customer, suggesting additional products, and entering the order in the computer system.•Utilize company systems for prospecting new customers.•Determine customer pricing within the company’s established pricing guidelines taking into account competitive pricing factors and past discounts as determined by customer records.•Determine best delivery methods for each customer order based on customer needs and most economical methods. Coordinate with warehouse personnel on delivery schedules and communicate this information to the customer representatives.•Expand customer base and create new customers by reviewing business directories for potential customers, making cold calls on possible new accounts, following up on leads from vendors and from trade shows, presenting the company’s products and services to decision makers and asking for an opportunity to serve their needs.•Seek opportunities to grow our business with existing small/medium accounts by presenting the company’s products and services that will add value to their business.•Using business registers and “no sale” reports, conduct out-bound sales calls to generate additional business with customers. Gather information about customers by utilizing customers’ account history, our CRM system, and the internet to make sound connections with your customers. Share information with other team members and update customer information files.
