Responsible for the maintenance and correct operation of storage pipelinesand tank systems in the refinery.Troubleshooting, testing, maintaining, and repairing pipeline and storagetank equipment which include valves, pumps, motors and filtration systemsPerforming periodic inspections and routine maintenance on the pipelinesystem and storage tanksBlending of semi-finished products and addition of chemicals to petroleumproducts.Lining up of valves and pumps to receive or load petroleum products fromor into ships and vessels.Preparing of pipe lines, tanks, vessels, and pumps by; cleaning, washingand purging the petroleum products from them for safe maintenance work.Monitoring tank volumes, reconciling product inventory every 24 hours andsending products to the fuel loading bay. This includes valve alignment, monitoring tank gauges, determining product volumes using API tables,hand gauging tanks and monitoring fuel quality.
