Graduated from the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2011 and studied Neurology at Eginition Hospital, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2015-2020). He became actively involved with First Aid training, receiving the title of provider, trainer, and director, as well as, trainer of trainers in many First Aid seminars such as BLS/AED, ALS, ILS, ETC, and AMLS as a member of Hellenic Society of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, European Resuscitation Council and National Association of Emergency Medicine Technicians. He received his Master's degree in "Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation" with honors (Grade: 9.57/10). During his specialty, he got academically involved in many scientific fields of Neurology, specifically in Headache Science, Stroke/Cerebrovascular Diseases, Emergency Neurology and Neuroimmunology. Since 2020, he has been a Scientific Research Associate at the Department of Stroke and Emergency Neurology at Eginition Hospital, where he also received training in cerebrovascular ultrasound. Currently, he is acting as a Consultant Neurologist/Stroke Specialist at Tallaght University Hospital (TUH)/Adelaide and Meath Hospital incorporating the National Children's Hospital (AMNCH), where he provides consults on General Neurology, Cerebrovascular Disorders, and Vascular Ultrasound. He has published more than 25 scientific articles on PubMed/MEDLINE, chapters in two scientific books on Migraine and First Aid and is a reviewer in more than 10 international peer-reviewed journals. He has taken part in 2 clinical trials on Stroke and Migraine. Under the auspices of the Alzheimer's Organization SARS-CoV-2 Consortium, he participated as a primary investigator in a prospective study regarding Long-COVID in Greece. He has participated in Greek, European, and International Neurological conferences, with over 85 presentations, while 4 of them received the best presentation award. He contributed as a member to the organizing committee in 2 Panhellenic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation conferences. He obtained a PhD diploma under full scholarship at the Medical School of Athens. Meanwhile, he teaches as a guest lecturer for undergraduate and postgraduate programs of the Medical School of Athens in fields such as Neurology, Neurosurgery, First Aid and Pharmacology. He is a member and actively participates in many scientific panels of Greek, European, and International Neurological societies (EAN, ESO, AHS, EHF, IHS, ESNCH) with main interests in Headache Science, Stroke, Cerebrovascular Ultrasound, and Neuroimmunology.
