She has served as a board member for the Posse Foundation and Friends and Returned Peace Corps Volunteers of Guyana. After receiving her graduate degree, she expanded her focus to higher education where she drove greater organizational awareness by applying principles of diversity, inclusion and equity to organization development, adult learning, and instructional design to create systems and initiatives that bring the very best out of people and organizations. There she worked to develop programs to address the harm revealed through one of the nation’s largest Title IX class action lawsuits. She was a co-principal investigator for an HHMI (“Howard Hughes Medical Institute”) grant and NSF (“National Science Foundation”) Advance grant. She has also worked with the Governor of New Hampshire’s Office to advise on statewide racial and economic equity initiatives. She has also served as the Systemwide Chief Diversity Officer for the University of Colorado’s four-campus institution.
