Managed a global IT organization with 150+ employees to develop and control global Infrastructure Solutions. Owner of several global projects including mergers and acquisitions.Developed the strategic masterplan for the global IT Infrastructure for the new standalone company with major breakthrough components like global consolidations and global outsourcing. Prepared Business Cases and realized major outsourcing contracts (200+ MUSD) for all Infrastructure and Operation in extremely short timeframes. Designed the retained IT organization and extended the corporate IT Infrastructure competences for the new (disentangled) company with appr. 40.000 employees mainly in Asia and Europe. Created a new open, and enthusiast global team for actively steering and guiding the federated IT model towards a new global organization.Realized the IT Infrastructure disentanglement from Philips and various other mergers and acquisitions. Developed several breakthroughs like global consolidation of the generic IT infrastructure and the global virtualization of the highly secured high-performance solution architecture for the global product design community (7000 employees).

Managed the IT and IT Shared Service Center for the largest Philips site with 5 factories and approximately 5000 employees with an IT budget of 65 MUSD and 150+ IT staff. Member of the Nijmegen Management Team. Site delegated Director towards the Site Services Works Council. Initiated, and managed major restructurings (incl. redundancies) on the site. Consolidated 15 IT departments by a major cultural change into a single IT organization with a single helpdesk.Halved the yearly IT spend. Brought organization in compliance with ISO9002 and COBIT.Implemented a business driven IT portfolio management with the business units on the site. Achieved a federated IT governance model balancing local needs with global IT initiatives. Co-author of the site strategic plans.

Managed the IT & Automation of the fully automated waferfab (365x24). Realized a 100% growth of the capacity in one year. Realized culture, performance and availability breakthroughs. Executed programs for improving the fab delivery performance with the Shop Floor Control system and introduction of Advanced Scheduling and programs for improving the fab yield by equipment automation and introduction of new tools for data analysis and statistical process control.
