Moving into a senior director position allowed me to develop and execute both the vision and day-to-day operations of this donor-funded entrepreneurship education center. Focusing on the development of venture founders and product builders has been an amazing growth opportunity by allowing me to build a product based on experiential education, inclusive community, and cooperative philanthropy. I placed special attention on our career development, performance management, and participant retention efforts, resulting in greater organizational effectiveness. My most rewarding challenges, however, were reacting to the COVID-19 pandemic, increasing mental and emotional support for our community, and establishing a foundation for our DE&I efforts. Show less
