As a Market Systems Officer with seven years of experience, I am passionate about driving sustainable development through Climate-Smart Agriculture and Tech-Driven Economic Development. My work focuses on implementing livelihood interventions in pastoral communities across Karamoja, Northern Uganda, and South Sudan, with a strong emphasis on inclusive market systems, financial inclusion, and youth employment. At GOAL, I successfully expanded agricultural market systems within the Markets for Youth Program, resulting in 1,149 new youth businesses and meaningful employment for 1,730 young women. My initiatives in financial inclusion enabled youth to save UGX 55 million and access UGX 53 million in loans, fuelling business creation and self-employment. In my previous roles, I have consistently built strong partnerships and delivered impactful results. At Mercy Corps, I strengthened livestock markets in Karamoja, leading to increased access to finance for over 200 agribusinesses and improved livestock productivity through innovative community animal health services. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Animal Production and Management and am currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Agricultural Education & Extension. My certifications in project management and data analytics further equip me to lead projects that are both strategically sound and data-driven.
