Assist in Management of the Alternate fund: - Identify and Analyze Open offers, buybacks, IPOs and delisting offers. - Read and analyze public announcements of the companies where an offer is made to the public shareholders. - Prepare data sheet to help analyze the possible arbitrage opportunities. - In-depth fundamental analysis of the stocks selected for the above mentioned style of investment. - Read and analyze the Red herring prospectus of companies with IPOs/FPOs. - Recommend stocks that could give an arbitrage opportunity. - Recommend entry and exit timing of stocks to be invested in. - Check client statements and make sure proper allocations are made as per the decided proportions of securities, cash and cash equivalents. Assist the fund manager of the Insider Shadow fund: - Keep a track of the companies invested in and the developments of the offers. - Gather data on insider purchases of companies on a daily basis and summarize the events on a weekly basis. - Recommend stocks with substantial insider purchases. - Assist in picking stocks that would be relevant to the investment style of the fund by data collection and analysis.Other responsibilities: Initiated tracking and analyzing fundamentals of companies under the Metals sector. Attend quarterly performance review conference calls and discuss financial performance with the top management. Review performance of the Alternate and Insider Shadow funds on a weekly basis with reasoning of rise or decline in stocks held in the specific funds.
