Contract value £261mFor more specific info, please see Projects sectionReporting to Head of Engineering & Project Director and accountable for all engineering related deliverables of the project.Key Elements:•Engineering & technical management of all construction activities at Marble Arch Place (MAP)•Responsibilities cover all structural permanent & temporary works (TWC), H&S, QA, construction sequence & strategy, movement monitoring, management of design consultants & coordination with contractors, change control, Client & 3rd party reporting, party wall submissions, providing technical advice to MEP and fit-out disciplines•Works included competitive tendering of future packages, demolition of existing buildings and basements, new rotary bore and sheet piling works, d-wall construction, 25m long plunge columns installation, coring of existing piles, extensive TWs, top down construction & 22m deep excavation for 5-storey substructure, structural steel main & transfer structures, PT & composite slabs, slipformed RC cores (x2), 300tn steel 'launchpad', RC & Precast columns, isolation bearings (x57), ground stabilisation of neighbouring structures, ca 3000m3 raft, 6no fully isolated cinema auditoriums, swimming pool, precast panels & stairs, final load transfer/jacking of critical elements to allow load path transition, underground heading tunnels•Multi discipline interfaces (London Underground & Royal Mail Group tunnels, Thames Water mains)•Identify technical risks/opportunities & conduct regular evaluations of programme, cost and quality objectives, measuring outputs and reporting on issues• Review construction information to identify buildability issues, producing alternative solutions, critically and logically evaluating the costs, risks & benefits of them•Review & approve all high risk activities and their test plans, RAMS &structural sub-contracts•Responsible for the performance management & professional development of the engineering team
