Since June 2022 I am working in Healthcare Interoperability as a Senior Sales Engineer at InterSystem, working with InterSystems IRIS for Health and HealthShare. Since 2010 I have various lead roles in Healthcare Interoperability. This included developing a tool set for customizable integrations, and implementing HL7 based integrations, both HL7v2 and HL7v3 including Clinical Document Architecture. As we build software for the US market, also Meaningful Use (MU2014) is a key topic.In Q3 2014 we implemented a first project on HL7 FHIR, which became the first real FHIR project in The Netherlands! Since second half of 2018 we see the amount of projects that demand FHIR grow very fast.That brings my total experience to more than 35 years.Before that I have roles in packaged software development and sales, as Product Architect, Solution Architect, and also as Product Manager.From 1998 through 2009 I was involved in the areas of Business Process Management (BPM), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI).Since 2004 I am active in the sales and Solution Architecture of enterprise software solutions in those areas.I am a trusted adviser that enjoys providing my customers with the solutions that solve their problems now and going forward.Seeing the huge impact of People and Process on Technology, I am more and more focused on the organizational aspects of IT and Enterprise Architecture.
