Through Soundsmith, I’ve composed, arranged, and engraved for choirs and orchestras worldwide. 🌎 Bringing Music to the World Stage.Most notably, I’ve had the privilege to serve as the primary manuscript engraving service of one of the world’s most iconic and accomplished choral ensembles, 360-member Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square (previously named Mormon Tabernacle Choir). Over the past two decades, I’ve translated Mack Wilberg’s compositions into finished, standardized, digital scores employed in 40+ studio albums, 25+ world tours, 10+ PBS Christmas specials, and 2 US Presidential Inaugurations.🎼 An Arpeggio of Opportunity: Empowering Small Choirs.Along the way, I discovered I could fill an important need. There are many, many amateur directors trying to build a choir program on a shoestring budget. With verve and inspiration to empower under-resourced choirs, I developed free hymn arrangements—converting the challenge of scarce funding into an arpeggio of opportunity. Co-Founder And Creative DirectorStorybounders 2004 - PresentWhen my wife and I joined the Lehi City Arts Council to lead the Lehi City Chorale in its 2004 season, we had one goal: give the choir something more exciting to perform than the usual fare at a friends-and-family concert. So, we decided to move our performance from Christmastime (too much competition!) to Halloween and we turned our concert into a story. Our rendition of Washington Irving’s The Legend of Sleepy Hollow was an amazing success. It was the genesis of Stories in Concert and sparked our lifelong passion to inspire people via immersive, unforgettable storytelling experiences.📚 Stories in Concert. Over the next eight years, we evolved our choir concert into a two-week event, fully supported by three different arts councils, a technical staff, ticketing and event management personnel, and a robust marketing program. We also added a pre-show festival where guests could immerse themselves in the living history of late 18th-century America and learn more about early-American literature and culture. At our last performance, we hosted nearly 5,000 guests across seven performances.🦁 Storybounders.In 2023, we resurrected the spirit of Stories in Concert via a new adventure Storybounders. A product of over two decades of searching and sharing the best stories with our children, grandchildren, friends, and thousands of others, Storybounders is a community that seeks light and wisdom out of the best books. Since launch, we’ve curated immersive popups that transport guests to elaborate home libraries of a time past. Our popups are adorned with antique wooden furniture, fixtures, and art, and punctuated by antiquarian book, rare memorabilia, and ephemera offerings sourced from collectors nationwide.

I aligned our marketing talent with the brand vision and value chain—manufacturing, packaging, retail placement, and customer purchase.🧭DNA Discovery Leading Family Storytelling.The epicenter of IDENTIGENE’s branding of the home paternity test and my role as I joined DDC was to design programs informing values-driven marketing and retail branding for retail DNA kits (with lab components). My team of 30+ was dedicated to commercialization, marketing, product robustness, and product support. Our demonstrated success resulted in the exit of our program in 2016 to DNA Diagnostics Center (and its subsequent expansion into dozens of home test kits).⚕️New SKU Category.We initiated a values-based health and wellness category with the paternity kits; by placing them in family planning (packaged and promoted as pregnancy tests typically are), we attracted several new customer categories that grew as our product offerings accelerated into dozens of home kit types.
